My career started by asking the question ”How are you making that type of money” to rental car customer? My first experience with insurance claims was an Assistant Fleet Manager with Enterprise Rent A Car where I filed claims to document damage on vehicles. My curiosity was satisfied when I got on an Independent Firms roster, quit my job and got my first deployment during Hurricane Sandy. That how my story begin. Don’t go quit your job without a plan but I did! A true leap of faith.

So how do you go from zero experience to working in management with Industry leaders in Auto and Property claims and making more in 1yr than I did in 5 years with my bachelors degree? Simple, turn your stumbling blocks into building blocks. The industry is filled with peaks and valleys. My first property job was verifying addresses for $300 a day but I’ve also traveled 400 miles 1 way spent $1,500 I didn’t have only to be informed that they were over staffed.

10 years later I’ve held positions as a Associate Vendor Manager, Team Lead, Trainer, and Triage Litigation Lead Supervisor in Auto and Property Claims. My experience as a Staff adjuster and Independent Adjuster has provided me the opportunity to become a true insurance claims professional. I established my company to be socially proactive and provide opportunities that will impact communities and to take advantage of the emerging trend of the virtual adjuster in insurance claims.
